The Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye is responsible for a whole range of delicious single malt whiskies that are adored by fans around the world. Owned by Diageo, they have provided whisky for the popular “Special Releases” series on a number of occasions. This 8 Year Old was a 2021 Special Release and with good reason. It brings elegant citrus fruits, melted dark chocolate, subtle sea salt and a hint of smoke to the table and all of the notes combine in perfect fashion. A real delight of a whisky from a top quality distillery.
