This first release in a new Royal Salute series celebrating iconic Polo locations focuses on what is widely regarded as the home of the horseback sport – Argentina. The South American country is famous for the Malbec wine it produces, leading to the Master Blenders at Royal Salute using a top of the range Malbec cask for maturation. It delivers a rich nose with aromas of raspberries, blackberries and sweet liquorice, before the palate arrives with incredible flavours of plum jam, sweet cinnamon and dark chocolate – it’s a marriage made in heaven. This is one of the finest premium blends we have tried in some time and one every whisky fan should try if given the chance.

This excellent Royal Brackla single malt was created at the Highland distillery in 2001 and matured in a sherry hogshead cask for 17 years before being bottle by Carn Mor for their brilliant ‘Celebration of the Cask’ series. This brilliant Benromach single malt whisky was released to celebrate the distillery’s 20th Anniversary. It contains some truly delicious whisky inside that was distilled in 1998 and matured in first-fill casks before being bottled in 2018. Only 3,000 bottles of this excellent, celebratory whisky were released and even less remain on the market today.
