This stunning single cask release was distilled at Islay’s Bowmore distillery in 2011 and matured in a barrel for around 9 years before bottling in 2020. It brings an elegant range of earthy and peaty notes to the table, backed up by freshly cut grass and gentle citrus fruits. It’s beautiful liquid that comes housed in an equally stunning box and bottle that features an illustration of a Shaolin Monk on the label. The monk is practicing his balance with a Khakkhara, the staff they are famed for training with. It’s an elegant whisky in a gorgeous bottle and with only 239 bottles produced, it won’t stay on the shelves for long.

Asta Morris
Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
The Sweet Toast of American Oak has been carefully matured in hand-crafted and specially charred oak barrels that bring a fantastic vanilla sweetness to the exceptional whisky. It has been aged for 12 years, making it smooth, rounded and incredibly complex.
