This 2010 bottling of Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength was the second batch of the revamped series, now made up from smaller batches. This one comes in at 58.3% and it certainly packs a punch. All of those famous distillery notes, including mouth-fulls of peat smoke, citrus fruits and slightly medicinal herbs in the background are there in this hugely popular release. This is one of the best batches of cask strength whisky to come out of the famous Islay distillery.
