Description
This excellent Golden Malt Sherry Cask Finish whisky was created at an unknown Scottish distillery in 1996 before being matured for around 18 years, including a finishing period in a top quality sherry cask, before bottling in 2014. It’s a well-balanced, fruity expression that brings sticky dates, winter berries, gentle cinnamon and hints of liquorice. Given this whisky comes from an unknown distillery, it’s hard to put your finger on where it came from, but if we had to take a guess at a region we’d say Speyside.
