This Glen Scotia 12 Year Old Seasonal Release 2021 combines a range of peat-free vintages from 2009 and earlier, resulting in a complex and moreish whisky. It was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and American oak barrels for 11 years before being transferred to first-fill Oloroso barrels and heavily charred American oak barrels for a further 12 months before finally being bottled. It’s a complex and well-balanced expression that delivers on the nose, palate and finish.
