Description
This excellent Bruichladdich 27 Year Old was distilled on Islay in 1992 and matured in an ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled by indie bottler Whisky Mew to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar in 2019. It’s a fine expression that brings citrus fruits, sticky toffee, freshly cut grass and gentle peat smoke, all of which mingle in a seamless fashion to create a memorable drinking experience. As a single cask whisky, this one was limited on release, but there are much fewer bottles in circulation today.
