A truly gorgeous single cask whisky from the brilliant Edradour Distillery that was distilled in 2008 and matured in a 1st fill bourbon barrel for around 12 years before bottling in 2020. Ballechin is the name given to heavily peated whiskies distilled at Edradour. It’s a rich, smoky and fruity whisky that has plenty to be explored and all of the memorable notes are delivered with an unmatched smoothness that keeps you coming back for another dram time and time again. The label and box feature the famous “At Mouqin’s” painting by William Glackens, making it stand out in any collection. With only 197 bottles produced, it’s a collectable and delicious whisky that is worth adding to your collection while you can.
