This Aultmore 18 Year Old Exceptional Cask bottling was first aged in sherry and bourbon barrles for 16 years before being transferred into a top quality Saint Julien Bordeaux Cask for 2 years prior to bottling. The maturation has had profound results on the whisky, imparting flavours of sweet ripe fruit, creamy vanilla, almonds, sweet pears and hints of golden syrup. It’s a truly stunning and unique expression that is well worth adding to any collection.
