The distillery has released some exquisite expressions in recent years and this is yet another one. This delicious Caol Ila whisky was distilled on Islay and matured for 8 years before bottling for the Japanese market. It is a single cask release that brings citrus fruits, freshly cut grass, building peat smoke and hints of vanilla throughout. It’s an outstanding expression that any fan of Islay whisky will adore.
This excellent Royal Brackla single malt was created at the Highland distillery in 2001 and matured in a sherry hogshead cask for 17 years before being bottle by Carn Mor for their brilliant ‘Celebration of the Cask’ series. Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
