Springbank 12 Year Old 100° Proof Campbeltown is a single malt Scotch whisky produced at Springbank distillery and bottled in the mid-1990s. Made at a cask strength of 57%.
Everything is balanced in the nose. It is more expressive in the palate as the flavor of oak is there and dust takes a little in the beginning. Ending in long, intense and spicy finish.
Sringbank Distillery is a single malt whisky distillery which is family-owned on the Kintyre Peninsula in Scotland. Reid Brothers established the Springbank in 1828 and sold the distillery to John and William Mitchell. Later on, when the son of John Mitchell joined, it became the J&A Mitchell. Springbank is the only distillery in Scotland that handles every stage of the production of whiskey, from malting barley to putting the spirit in a bottle. It is one of the last surviving producers of single malt whiskies in Campbeltown.
