For the first cask strength release of the Supreme Lord, we have chosen one of the oldest distilleries in Jamaica: Monymusk. Its traditional British-style pot still heavy rum is produced with a high percentage of “dunder” (yeast-rich residue from a previous distillation) added during fermentation, and this is the secret of its mindboggling richness and funky aromatic intensity. Aged for 25 years, of which eleven in Oloroso sherry casks to add fruitiness and complexity, it doubtlessly is the biggest and boldest aged Jamaican rum we have ever released. Only 750 bottles produced.
