After being aged for a period of indefinite of time in bourbon and sherry-seasoned oak barrels, this expression was bottled at a 40.2% alcohol strength.
This unique travel exclusive single malt whisky, is a masterpiece that combines cutting-edge, sustainable innovation with age-old distillation techniques. Inspired by the green meadows and pastures typical of the Scottish countryside. In partnership with Stella and Mary McCartney, this single malt was developed to honor Scotland’s verdant, lush landscapes, which have historically bound generations of people who have stood upon them.
This spring morning colored offered an aroma of fresh orange and lemon, wild primrose, petrichor, honeydew melon, bluebells. A taste of rich lemon, barley sugars, creamy vanilla, almonds, fresh oak. Ending in sweet, fragrant, long and creamy finish.
In order to create beauty from resources that are nearing the end of their natural existence, The Harmony Collection Green Meadow keeps up its acceptance of reusing natural materials in its packaging. This presentation box and bottle labels, made from leftover meadow clippings, are a symbol of this close relationship with nature. Waste wheat straw that is recycled from the estate is used to make the packaging carton and label for Macallan “Green Meadow” whisky. This straw may completely decomposed organically. The image of Macallan Manor, photographed by Mary McCartney, is featured on the box as a representation of a brighter, more sustainable future.
