Description
This fine Macallan was distilled at the legendary Speyside distillery in 1991 before being matured in a top quality sherry hogshead butt for 27 years. It was then bottled by the incredible Or Sileis in 2018. This single cask whisky is rich and fruity with winter berries, oak spices and sticky cherries. It has a very well-rounded character and is very moreish – you’ll definitely be reaching back for another dram before you know it with this one. The bottle features Merlin, the legendary Arthurian wizard and it makes up part of the compelling “Arthurian Tales” series. Limited to just 288 bottles, this fine and limited Macallan is sure to excite collector’s and aficionados alike.
