Description
This Macallan 1851 Inspiration is a stunning, collectible release from the famous Speyside distillery that was inspired by an original Macallan whisky from 1851. The distillery’s master-craftsman tasted a number of antique whiskies from around that time before setting about replicating them for this release. Everything about the whisky, from the flavour profile to the stubby bottle that holds it, are based on the historic 1851 bottling.
It brings citrus, oak spices and gentle vanilla before following up with more woody spice, roasted chestnuts and hints of malt. It’s an incredibly smooth, balanced and moreish whisky that will have you coming back to the bottle time and time again.
As this whisky was released for select international retailers, quantities are limited.
