This Ledaig 37 Year Old is a truly impressive dram. It was distilled in 1972 at the Isle of Mull’s Tobermory distillery, then known as Ledaig. It was then aged in Oloroso Sherry casks for 37 years before being bottled in 2010. Only 152 bottles were made available.
About Tobermory
Mull’s Tobermory distillery was initially known as Ledaig. Today this name is used for their small range of peated whiskies. The vast majority of single-malts produced here are unpeated, however they do sport a subtle smokiness that comes from the use of yeast and water that have been drawn from the islands aromatic peat lochs.
