This Laphroaig Brodir is a small batch, Port Wood finished whisky from the popular Islay distillery. All of the usual notes of peat smoke, sea salt and wet morning grass are there but this time they’re backed up by rich, fruity notes of dried fruits, Christmas cake and cinnamon spice. A brilliant limited edition from one of Scotland’s best distilleries.
