Description
The Laphroaig 18 Year Old was brought out in 2009 as a replacement for the 15 Year Old and since then fans around the world have lapped it up. Where the 15 was lighter and fruity, this one brings more of a punch, with rich oak, sea salt, heavy peat and freshly cut grass being the most obvious on the nose and palate. It’s an outstanding dram from one of Islay’s best distilleries that should be a staple for any peat-lover.
This is the old label version which is hard to find on today’s market, making it collectible as well as delicious.
