This Lagavulin 12 Year Old is the 21st of its nature to be released for the Diageo Special Releases, and year on year it brings a plethora of mouthwatering tasting notes to the table just waiting to be enjoyed. The consistent, supreme quality of this whisky is a testament to the work of the Master Blenders and Distillers at the famous Islay distillery, and it is loved and cherished by millions of whisky fans around the world.
This Diageo Special Releases 2022 edition was created using some of the smokiest casks in the Lagavulin warehouses, alongside liquid from virgin oak casks, resulting in a truly powerful and delicious tasting experience. Expect big notes of peat to mingle with woody spices, freshly sliced apples, subtle vanilla and earthy tones that linger throughout, alongside hints of black pepper and fired oak. It’s another outstanding single malt from one of the world’s best distilleries and one that every fan of Lagavulin will enjoy wholeheartedly.
