Description
Highland Park Loyalty Of The Wolf, is a stunning 14 Year Old single malt from Scotland’s furthest north distillery. Created on the wet and windy Isle of Ornkey, it is part of the Vikings Series and brings the spirit of the wolf to the distillery’s already incredible liquid.
Matured for 14 Years in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, it brings red apples, sweet honey, heather, some Christmas spices and an underlying smokiness of peat that fades in and out in the background. The combination of sweet and savoury is spot on in this well-rounded dram, with warming spices bouncing off the sweeter notes, rather than overpowering them.
Released as an exclusive for selected international retailers, this whisky is hard to get your hands on. Warming, strong and ultimately epic, this is one that scotch fans everywhere should try!
