A great whisky from Edradour, widely regarded as Scotland’s most scenic distillery. This Ballechin 2008 “Shuten-dōji” is a single cask whisky released under the “Ballechin” brand name, given to peated whiskies produced at Edradour. It was created from peated malt and matured in a second-sill sherry cask for around 12 years before bottling in 2020.
