Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a premium bourbon that embodies the art of refined American whiskey-making. Aged for a decade in charred oak barrels, it showcases a deep amber color and a rich, layered flavor profile that develops with each sip. Though it may have a shorter history compared to many Kentucky giants, Eagle Rare boasts a legacy of craftsmanship and quality. Created in 1975 by master distiller Charles L. Beam as a 50-proof non-single barrel bourbon, it was initially owned by Seagram, one of the world’s largest vintners at the time. In 1989, the Eagle Rare brand was acquired by the family-owned Sazerac Company and has since been produced at their Kentucky distillery, now known as Buffalo Trace. This transition has only enhanced its reputation, with the distillery’s expertise ensuring a consistently exceptional product.
