Independently bottled peated single malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, released under their Ledaig name. This was distilled in October 1997 and aged in a single cask for 18 years until March 2016, when the fine folks at Carn Mor bottled it for their Celebration of the Cask range. This is a release of 260 bottles.

Nose: Toasted bread with a layer of Nutella, orange zest, salted crackers.
Palate: Oodles of baking spices here, with a particular powerful touch of clove. Salted caramel and yellow plums.
Finish: Warming peat smoke lasts and lasts on the long finish.

Asta Morris
Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
10-15 Years
This Glen Moray 11 Year Old is a single cask release distilled in 2008 and aged in a first-fill bourbon barrel before being bottled by A.D. Rattray in 2020. It brings a light, fruity and smooth flavour profile that has lots of tropical fruits, vanilla and honey. With only 192 bottles produced, it’s also collectable.

Asta Morris 23 Year Old, from the Blair Athol distillery in Scotland. Need we say more? This is wonderful stuff that any collector of Asta Morris should have in their drinking cabinet! Bottled for Gaia Flow for Japan only release (but we’ve managed to nab some for our whisky drinkers around the world!).
This excellent Royal Brackla single malt was created at the Highland distillery in 2001 and matured in a sherry hogshead cask for 17 years before being bottle by Carn Mor for their brilliant ‘Celebration of the Cask’ series. It’s a rare and delicious single malt of which only 177 bottles were produced.
