This Blair Athol 23 Year Old is a highly collectable whisky from the Diageo Special Releases of 2017. Matured in the finest quality ex-bodega European Sherry casks, it’s deep, rich and fruity. Expect plenty of raisins, winter berries and sticky dates on the nose, before the palate arrives with fruit cake, caramel sauce and hints of nutmeg on the palate. The finish is long and holds right up until your next sip.
It’s a truly elegant, rich and sticky dram that just keeps on giving.
