This brilliant Balblair 1983 vintage 1st release single malt is a Highland whisky matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for over 20 years before bottling in 2014. It brings a special array of notes to the table including warm toffee, lashings of vanilla, sweet cherries and gentle spices. The notes dance in tandem, bouncing off of each other in elegant style. It’s a truly exceptional expression that is perfect for any lover of sweeter drams.
