The sixth edition in its esteemed Polo Collection, the Royal Salute 21-Year-Old Miami Polo Edition, carries on the Scotch whisky’s spirit of breaking into new kingdoms by emulating traditions of famous polo locations throughout the globe.
Master blender Sandy Hyslop of Royal Salute carefully created to capture the spirit of Miami’s sun-kissed energy. The new expression, a bespoke whisky completed in a combination of traditional first-fill bourbon and first-fill rye barrels, marks a first in Royal Salute’s blending history.
The rye’s delicate spice alludes to Miami’s positive, glamorous lifestyle, while notes of silky vanilla and coconut from the bourbon casks remind us of the city’s beautiful sandy beaches. Specially designed to appeal to both the palate and the eyes.
This whisky offers an aroma of juicy ripe pears, honey blossom, and vanilla pastel de nata on a backdrop of white chocolate, marzipan, and subtle cinnamon spice. The taste of sweet apricot, traditional pear drop sweets, coconut shavings over milk chocolate followed by zesty lemon curd, and hints of aromatic gingerbread, blend all together in the tongue. Ending in a sweet, silky and complex finish.
Showcasing in a stunning pink flagon, the 21-Year-Old Miami Polo Edition captures the whimsical charm of the city. It is contained in a gorgeous presentation box covered with an artistic artwork representing luxurious post-polo match celebrations, set against Miami’s infamous art-deco architecture.
