Asta Morris is the name under which famous Belgian single-malt enthusiast, Bert Bruyneel, releases his astonishing collection of whisky. They have had a lot of really successful releases from a number of distilleries across Scotland, but this one is different to the rest. It was born out of a mistake.
Whisky that was destined for an ex-bourbon cask was accidentally placed into a cask that had previously housed NOG (No Ordinary Gin). After some tasting, Bruyneel realised that the ‘mistake’ had actually created a brand-new and exciting expression of whisky that he and his colleagues thoroughly enjoyed. Glorious Bastard born.

Asta Morris is a label under which former Belgian Malt Maniac Bert Bruyneel bottles his excellent cask selection. This particular Asta Morris whisky is from Glen Moray. It is a 10 year old “Kanagawa (upland seascape)” single malt release with only 370 bottles ever released.
